Frequently Asked Questions

A few answers to your Questions

Is it legal ?

For weddings, the legal part needs to be done separately at the Register Office, which is a very short and simple ceremony. There only needs to be two witnesses attend the ceremony with you and no exchange of rings need to be done at the Register Office.

We recommend that you save the exchange of rings for your ceremony that we conduct at your chosen venue.

Naming ceremonies and  Renewal of Vows are not legal ceremonies.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the ceremony very much depends on what type of ceremony you have and what is involved. We are happy to arrange a quote once you have decided on your date and venue.

Can we write our own vows and promises?

Yes ! We love it when Brides and Grooms personalise their ceremony in this way.

Can I have a ceremony anywhere?

Pretty much ! We are happy to conduct a ceremony at the location of your choice, as long as you have permission from the venue or landowner.

What areas do you cover?

We work mainly in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, The Peak District and Warwickshire, however we can cover any area if requested, feel free to get in touch.

Can family members be involved?

Yes of course! Just chat to us on how you'd like them to be involved and we'll come up with some ideas.

Do we have a rehearsal?

Each ceremony is bespoke, so it depends on the type of ceremony you are having. Not all ceremonies require a rehearsal and are priced accordingly.
