Bradgate Park

Bespoke Wedding Ceremonies at Bradgate Park.

We are delighted to be working in collaboration with The Bradgate Park Trust, exclusively co-ordinating and conducting ceremonies on select dates at the beautiful Bradgate Park in Leicestershire; a place steeped in history and such a special place for so many people.

We will take care of all aspects for you, from booking the venue, arranging access to the park, writing and conducting your ceremony, and having a member of staff present for the duration of the venue hire.

The majority of Bradgate Park is designated as a site of specific interest (SSSI) under the wildlife and countryside act 1981 as a whole of Swithland Wood and great care is being taken to ensure that any ceremonies taking place are sympathetic of this.

Frequently asked questions

1.     Can we throw confetti ?

Yes, as long as it is natural flower petals.

2.     Can we have a small reception at the park?

The hire is for ceremonies only. There are many local venues who would be delighted to host your reception for you. Please contact My Perfect Ceremony for their recommendations.

Are there any times that ceremonies are not available?

Ceremonies will not be available on Christmas Day , New Year’s Day or Easter Sunday.

We are very passionate about ensuring that offering a select number of ceremonies at the park is an enhancement to the facilities already available, without it having any detrimental impact on the general public.

Charles Bennion gave the Park in trust to be managed “in perpetuity as an open space or public park for the purposes of recreation” by the people of Leicestershire and visitors to the county.

The Bradgate Park Trust charity has two objects

(charitable purposes):

The provision of a public park and recreation ground, and the maintenance and improvement thereof, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Country of Leicestershire and of visitors thereto, with the objects of improving the conditions of life for such persons

and

To advance the education of the public in the appreciation and care of the environment.
